-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 垂直スクローラ（VERTICAL SCROLLER）は自動スクロール機能付き画像ビューアーです。 画像を拡大＆スクロールしつつ鑑賞することが出来るようになります。拡大により画像が 画面に収まり切らなくなるのをスクロール機能で補完します。 これで今まで気付けなかった画像の詳細が確認出来るようになり鑑賞体験が向上します。 メイン画面で画像を拡大し、上方向スクロール、下方向スクロール、スクロール速度調整、 サブ画面で画像全体の確認が行えます。 画像は原画のサイズと鑑賞画面（メインウインドウ）のサイズにより拡大縮小出来ます。 原画が鑑賞画面より大きい時は、原画は縮小表示され、小さいときは拡大表示されます。 昨今、原画の方がメインウインドウより大きいのが一般的で、通常の画像ビューアーだと 画像が縮小表示される傾向があります。縮小表示すれば画像全体が鑑賞出来るからです。 しかし、これだと原画の詳細が見えずらくなります。詳細が見えず、歯がゆい思いをする ことになります。 VERTICAL SCROLLER は、この問題に対処するため、画像サイズを出来るだけ大きく保ち、 詳細が鑑賞出来るようにしました。拡大し見えなくなった部分は垂直スクロールすること で見えるようにし鑑賞体験を向上させました。 対応画像サイズ ４つの画像サイズに対応しています サイズ１　原画全体がメインウインドウで見えるように画像を拡大縮小します。 サイズ２　原画の水平方向サイズを維持しつつ画像表示します。 メインウインドウに収まり切らない画像部分は垂直スクロールし見えるようにします。 但し、原画の水平方向サイズがメイン画面より大きい場合は、メイン画面にフィットするよう 原画が縮小されます。 サイズ３　基本的に原画を開発者推奨サイズまで拡大し表示します。 メインウインドウに収まり切らない画像部分は垂直スクロールし見えるようにします。 但し、原画の水平方向サイズがメイン画面より大きい場合は、メイン画面にフィットするよう 原画が縮小されます。 サイズ４　基本的に原画の水平方向サイズがメインウインドウにフィットするに画像を拡大縮小します。 メイン画面に収まり切らない画像部分は垂直スクロールし見えるようにします。 但し、原画の水平方向サイズがメイン画面より大きい場合は、メイン画面にフィットするよう 原画が縮小されます。 通常の昨今の画像（昨今の画像はメインウインドウより大きいのが一般的）でこの処理を施すと表示 画像サイズは１→２→３→４の順になります。サイズ４が最大サイズです。 注） 上の画像サイズ順は例です。実際のサイズ順は原画サイズに依存し、順序が違う場合もあります。 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERTICAL SCROLLER パラメータ設定 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 下記のパラメータはVERTICAL SCROLLER コントロールパネルで設定可能です。 コントロールパネルは複数のタブで構成され、各々のタブをマウスクリックすることで各種機能が実現されます。 なお、コントロールパネルはVERTICAL SCROLLER メイン画面の左上に表示されます。 1) 中止 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすればVERTICAL SCROLLERを停止させることが出来ます。 キーボードのESCキーを打鍵することでも停止出来ます。 2) 大画面 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックするとメインウインドウをフルスクリーン/非フルスクリーンに切替ることが出来ます。 キーボードの[a]キーを打鍵することでも同じ機能が実現出来ます。 3) 子画面 子画面を表示/非表示モードに切替ることが出来ます。子画面には縮小され全体画像が表示されます。 スクロール中はメインウインドウでは画像全体が表示されません。子画面で画像のどの部分が表示されているか確認出来ます。　 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで子画面の表示/非表示をコントロール出来います。 キーボードの [z]キーを打鍵することでも同じ機能が実現します。 4) 逐次表示 画像の逐次順表示/非逐次順表示モードの切替えが出来ます 非逐次順表示では対応画像がスクロール表示された後、全体がメインウインドウにフィットするように縮小/拡大表示され 　 その後で次の画像がスクロール表示されます。 　 逐次順表示モードでは、対応画像表示後すぐに次の画像がスクロール表示されます。　 タブをマウスクリックすることで逐次/非逐次モードを切替ることが出来ます。 キーボードの[ｓ] キーを打鍵することで同じことが実現します。 5) 乱数 逐次順/乱数順　画像表示 　 画像は通常決まった順序（フォルダ内の格納順番）で表示されますが、この機能を使い表示順をランダム化出来ます。 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで逐次順/乱数純画像表示を切替ることが出来ます。 6) 日/英　 日本語/英語　と言語を切替ることが出来ます。 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで英語→日本語或いは日本語→英語にり替ることが出来ます。 7) ヘルプ この機能が有効化されると、マウスを各タブの上に持って行くと、そのタブの機能概要が黄色表示されます。 このタブにマウスを移動クリックすることでヘルプ機能を有効化/無効化出来ます。 8) フォルダ選択 (選択フォルダに存在する画像が順次表示されます） このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすると画像表示用のフォルダが選択出来ます。 VERTICAL SCROLLER は、選択フォルダに存在する処理可能画像を自動表示します。処理出来ない画像はスキップします。 9) 上画像に移動 ▲ スクロールを中断し、次の上画像を直ちに表示します。 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで次の上画像に移動出来ます。 キーボードの [▲] キーに打鍵することでも同じ機能が実現します。 10)上方向スクロール [△] スクロール停止中は無効です。 　 上方向スクロール速度を高速化します。３レベルの速度迄対応しています。 　　 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで高速化出来ます。 キーボードの [e] キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 11)スクロール停止 □ スクロールの停止/継続が出来ます。 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることでスクロールの停止/継続が実現します。 キーボードの [c] キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 12)下方向スクロール ▽ スクロール停止中は無効です。 　 下方向スクロール速度を高速化します。３レベルの速度迄対応しています。 　　 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで下方向スクロールを高速化出来ます。 キーボードの [d] キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 13)下画像に移動 ▼ スクロールを中断し、次の下画像を直ちに表示します。 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることで直ちに次の下画像を表示出来ます。 キーボードの [▼] キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 14)高速 高速スクロールを有効化/無効化出来ます。 このタブにマウスを移動しクリックすることでこの機能を有効化/無効化出来ます。 キーボードの [v] キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 15)画像サイズ 　 タブ１，２，３，４にマウスを移動しクリックすることで表示画像サイズを選択出来ます。　 キーボードの１，２，３，４キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 以下は選択できる表示画像サイズの説明です。 (上で説明したものと同じものの再記載です) 　　対応画像サイズ 　　４つの画像サイズに対応しています 　　サイズ１　原画全体がメインウインドウで見えるように画像を拡大縮小します。 　　注） 　　上の画像サイズ順は例です。実際のサイズ順は原画サイズに依存し、順序が違う場合もあります。 16)画像番号 コントロールパネルに画像番号・タブがあります。 これは選択されたフォルダ内の画像の位置順を示しています。 但し、番号の示す数値には選択フォルダに存在するフォルダ以外の全てのファイルが含まれます。 　 ファイルには画像以外も含まれ、処理出来る画像ファイル以外のファイルはスキップされます。　 従い、画像カウンタは特定の数値をスキップする可能性があります。これはVERTICAL SCROLLER 　 の誤動作でありません。VERTICAL SCROLLERが処理出来ないファイル（例えば、非画像ファイル） 　 を自動スキップするからです。承知おきください。 17)スライダー 　 多数の画像の中から特定の画像を高速にアクセスするため、スライダーが用意されています。　 　 スライダーを使いマウスで「掴み部分」をスライドさせることで画像への高速アクセスが可能になります。 スライダーの左横に数値が示されています。 　 選択フォルダ内の画像番号が100以下の場合は、この数値は画像番号の数値と一致します。　 　 画像番号が100以上の場合（選択フォルダに１００以上のファイルが存在する場合）、スライダーの最大数 　 は自動的に100に固定されます。 　 この場合、スライダーの左横の数値は画像のフォルダー内相対位置を示します。相対位置は最少１、 　 最大１００になり、上の画像カウントと一致しません。承知おきください。　　　 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ コントロールパネル以外のコントロール ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 上で説明したように、基本的な画像表示機能（画像サイズ、スクロール上/下/停止など)は、コントローパネル のタブ或いはキーボードによりアクセス出来ます。これにより、いちいちタブをクリックしなくてもコントロール が可能になり、画像鑑賞体験が向上することを期待しています。　 一方で、いくつか言及していない機能もあります。 1) コントロールパネル自体の表示/非表示が可能です。 a) VERTICAL SCROLLER メインウインドウの任意の場所をマウスクリックすることでパネルの表示/非表示が可能です。 b) キーボードの[q] キーを打鍵することで同じ機能が実現します。 2) キーボードの「スペース」気を打鍵することでスクロールを中断し、次の画像を直ちに表示することが可能です。 　 次の画像が上画像か下画像かは、打鍵した時のスクロール方向が上か下かで決まります。　 3) VERTICAL SCROLLERのメインウインドウをマウスで掴み、マウス移動させることで画面サイズを変更出来ます。 　 さらに画面サイズを画面右上の□タブをマウスクリックすることで最大化出来ます。　 　 また画面右上の「X」タブをマウスクリックし、VERTICAL SCROLLERを停止することが出来ます。 　 これらは全てWindows OSが普通に提供している機能です。 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Overview The VERTICAL SCROLLER is an image viewer with automatic scrolling feature. With this you can expand the image and scroll-view; see details in the image you had not notice before, enhancing your viewing pleasure. You can scroll up, scroll down, control scrolling speed, while viewing the entire image in a sub-window. The image resizes(expands or shrinks) depending on the original image size and viewing window size (main window). If the original image is larger than the main window, it shrinks. If the original image is smaller it expands. Images larger than the main window are common nowadays and conventional image viewers tend to shrink the image to match the window size. This ensures that the entire image can be viewed. The downside is that it is difficult to view picture details. The VERTICAL SCROLLER addresses this problem by keeping the image size as large as possible and allowing the viewer to see image parts that cannot be shown in the initial window by scrolling automatically in the vertical direction. This results in an enhanced viewing experience for the viewer. Image size 4 image resize(expand/shrink) modes are supported. Size 1 resizes so the whole picture can be viewed in the main window. Size 2 resizes so the horizontal image size is preserved. You get to see the parts that cannot be displayed in the main window by scrolling. If the horizontal image size is greater than the horizontal window size it is shrunk to fit the window size. Size 3 basically expands the horizontal image size by an amount recommended by developer. If the horizontal image size is greater than the horizontal window size it is shrunk to fit the window size. Size 4 basically expands the horizontal image to fit the horizontal main window size. If the horizontal image size is greater than the horizontal window size it is shrunk to fit the window size. In normal images (images that are somewhat larger than the window) the size of the resized image are in order of size is 1,2,3,4; where size 4 is the largest image. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VERTICAL SCROLLER Parameter Controls The following paremeters can be set by the VERTICAL SCROLLER control pannel. The control pannel is on the left upper part of the VERTICAL SCROLLER main window. 1) QUIT If you mouse click on the tab, you can exit the vertical scroller program. You can also exit by pressing the ESC key on the keyboard. 2) FULL If you mouse click on the tab, you can change window size full-screen/non-full-screen. You can also change window size by pressing [a] key on the keyboard. 3) SubWin You can show/not-show the sub-window(SubWin).The sub-window shows the entire image. You will not see the entire image on the (main) initial window when scrolling. By using the sub-window you can see which part of the image is beeing scrolled/displayed. If you mouse click on the tab, the sub-window is shown/not-shown depending on initial state. You can also control this feature by pressing [z] key on the keyboard. 4) SEQ Sequential display/non-sequential display of images In non-sequential display mode after a particular image is scrolled, the entire image is shown before moving on to the next image. In sequential display mode after a particular image is scrolled, the next image follows immediately. You can enable/disable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. You can also enable/disable by pressing [s] key on keyboard. 5) SHUFFLE Shuffle/non-shuffle image display order. You can enable/disable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. 6) Eng/Jap Support for English/Japanese language If you mouse click on the tab, you can change from English to Japanese language or vice-versa. 7) Help By enabling this feature, you can get rough explainations of the tabs function by placing the mouse on the requisite tab. You can enable/disable the help function by mouse clicking on the tab. 8) Folder Select By mouse clicking on the tab, you can select a particular folder for display. The VERTICAL SCROLLER will automatically display images in the folder and skip non-image files. 9) To Upper image ▲ Cease scrolling and go the next upper image. You can enable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. You can also enable by pressing [▲] key on keyboard. 10)Up scroll △ This function is effective only when [Stop scrolling □] is off. 　 Change upward scrolling speed. Up to 3 upward scrolling speeds are supported. 　　 You can enable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. You can also enable by pressing [△] key on keyboard. 11)Stop scrolling □ Stops/enables scrolling. You can stop/enable scrolling mouse clicking on the tab. You can also stop/enable scrolling by pressing [c] key on keyboard. 12)Down scroll ▽ This function is effective only when [Stop scrolling □] is off. 　 Change downward scrolling speed. Up to 3 downward scrolling speeds are supported. 　　 You can enable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. You can also enable by pressing [▽] key on keyboard. 13)To Downward image ▼ Cease scrolling and go the next downward image. You can enable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. You can also enable by pressing [▼] key on keyboard. 14)FAST You can enable/disable fast scrolling. You can enable this function by mouse clicking on the tab. You can also enable by pressing [v] key on keyboard. 15)Pic size/Image size You can select image size by mouse clicking on tabs 1 or 2 or 3 or 4. You can also select by pressing 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 key on keyboard. The following is a description of the image sizes you can select (Same explaination as above) 4 image resize(expand/shrink) modes are supported. However please be adviced that this order depends on the original image. The order might reverse depending on the image. 16)Pic No(Picture number) There is a Pic no tab on the control pannel. This shows the position of the image within the selected folder. The number is a count number of all non-folder files in the folder so it is not a count of all the images in the folder. Non-image files or files that cannot be processed by the VERTICA SCROLLER in the folder are skipped. So the Pic No (Picture number) might skip certain numbers. This is not a malfunction of the VERTICAL SCROLLER. The VERTICAL SCROLLER has only skipped certain numbers because the corresponding files are files which the VERTICAL SCROLLER cannot process(i.e non-image files etc.). 17)Scaler/Slider To access images quickly, a scaler has been provided.By sliding the scale with mouse, you can access images quicky. The slider shows some numbers on the lelf side of the scaler/slider. When the maximum picture number is less than 100, the number corresponds to the number on the Pic counter. If the maximum number(i.e the number of files in the selected folder) is more than 100 the maximum number is automatically set to 100. The number shown by the slider shows the relative position of the image in the folder. Minimum relative position is 1, maximum is 100. It does not correspond to the Pic number. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Controls beside the control pannel As explained above, basic viewing functions such as image size, scroll up/down/stop can be accessed by both control pannel and by pressing the keyboard. This is intended to enhance viewing pleasure. Also there are some additional functions. 1) You can display/not-display control pannel by a) Clicking anywhere in the VERTICAL SCROLLER window b) Pressing key[q] on the keyboard. 2) You can go to [next] image by pressing [space] key on keyboard. [next] image can be upper or downward image depending on the scrolling direction. 3) You can resize the VERTICAL SCROLLER window by grabbing the window and moving the mouse. You can maximize the window by mouse clicking □ tab on the righ upper corner of the window. You can exit the program(VERTICAL SCROLLER) by clicking × tab on right upper corner of the window. The VERTICAL SCROLLER is a normal Windows Application program. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Others 1) Supported Windows version Windows 10 2) Rough license agreement (Formal license agreement provided. Read that for details) This is a license to use the software only. The program (VERTICAL SCROLLER) is licensed to a particular PC.
